After completing four years of studies, Alisha graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor degree in Exercise Science, specialization in Athletic Therapy, allowing her to become a member of the Canadian Athletic Therapy Association in 2018. She’s acquired a lot of experience in the varsity setting by interning with sports teams, such as football, soccer, cheerleading, hockey and basketball. She deepened her knowledge in strength and conditioning as she co-led the Vanier College Football team’s off-season training sessions in 2015.
Off-field, she keeps her clinical manual skillset and rehabilitation approaches fresh by attending provincial and national athletic therapy conferences. This allows her to reinforce her treatments by prescribing sport-specific exercises with strategic functional movement patterns.
Alisha first taught a class as a volunteer group exercise instructor for seniors with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss. She pursued her love for teaching by currently giving the myofascial ELDOA stretching class at The Body Mechanics in Pointe-Claire.
